The panel responsible for choosing successful applicants for the awarding of Fondation’s award for Young Researchers, year 2017 met on September 25.

The members of the panel were as follows : Rémi Baudouï, Barry Bergdoll, Maristella Casciato, Roberto Gargiani, Christine Mengin, Guillemette Morel Journel.

Having examined files in all, the panel decided to propose to the Board of Directors the awarding of the grant to :

- Véronique Boone pour son travail :Le Corbusier et le cinéma

The panel responsible for choosing successful applicants for the awarding of Fondation’s award for Young Researchers, year 2016 met on September 21.

The members of the panel were as follows : Joseph Abram, Rémi Baudouï, Barry Bergdoll, Maristella Casciato, Roberto Gargiani, Christine Mengin, Guillemette Morel Journel, Gilles Ragot.

Having examined files in all, the panel decided to propose to the Board of Directors the awarding of the grant to :

- Ingrid Guerrero pour son travail :Enfants de la rue de Sèvres : les collaborateurs latino-américains de LC à Paris

- Marta Sequeira pour : Towards a public space. Le Corbusier and the Greco-Latin tradition in the modern city

The laureates for the grants of the Fondation Le Corbusier for the year 2013 have been selected on September 16, 2013.

Grant for Artists:

The jury decided to support the two following applications :

- "Le Corbusier & Clive Entwistle" presented by Sarah Entwhistle

- "My house is a Le Corbusier" presented by Cristian Chironi

Grant for Academic Scholarship:

The jury decided to support the following project:

- "Le Corbusier and Andre Missenard : artificial climate to bioclimatic architecture presented by Ignacio Ruiz Requena


Grants for young researchers, 2012

This year Fondation Le Corbusier has decided to award two scholarships aid for scientific research and one Scholarship aid for artistic creation.

The panel responsible for choosing successful applicants for the awarding of grants by the Foundation met on September 10, 2012. At the end of the file review (11 scientific files and 9 artistic files), it was decided, by majority vote, to propose the award :

Scholarship Aid For Artistic Creation:

Madame Pauline Beaudemont et Monsieur Adam Brainbridge : Continuation of the artistic Journey started at Le Corbusier’s Maison Blanche in La Chaux-de-Fonds. In the intention is to expand on the pratice started in la Chaux-de-Fonds – focus on personal readings of the architecture and combined these evocations in physical objects, film and music - and to make another personal approach to one of Le Corbusier’s most ambitious projects : Chandigarh.

Scholarship Aid For Scientific Research:

Madame Claudia Felipe : Le Corbusier en el Anahuacalli : travesias intelectuales junto a Diego Rivera.

Madame Geneviève Hendricks : Collision and collusion: Le Corbusier's Art and Architecture after Purism.


Grants for young researchers, 2011

The panel responsible for choosing successful applicants for the awarding of grants by the Foundation met on September 12, 2011. At the end of the file review, it was decided, by majority vote, to propose the award of two grants totaling € 5 000 to:

- Senaka Weeraman for his research project entitled: "Dear ... your Minnette Corbu. Studies of the relationship between Minnette De Silva and Le Corbusier";

- Marc Leschelier for his project: "La Roche la nuit. Histoire d'une manifestation architecturale dans la Maison La Roche" which takes as its starting point, residence of the architect John Hejduk in the Maison La Roche in October 1972.

It was decided to entrust the research support of Senaka Weeraman to Rémi Baudoui and of Mark Leschelier to Claude Massu.


Grants for young researchers, 2010

The panel responsible for choosing successful applicants for the awarding of grants by the Foundation for 2010 met on July 7.

The members of the panel examined files in all and decided to propose the allocation of the grant amounting to € 10,000 to Elise Koering, Ph.D. in History of Architecture for his research project entitled:

"Les intérieurs corbuséens. Réflexions autour de la question du meuble et de l'architecture d'intérieur chez Le Corbusier avant la Seconde Guerre mondiale."

The panel responsible for choosing successful applicants for the awarding of grants by the Foundation for 2009 met on September 28.
The members of the panel were as follows : Rémi Baudouï, Tim Benton, Jean-Louis Cohen, Françoise Ducros, Patrick Leitner, Eric Lengereau, Claude Massu, Antoine Picon, Claude Prelorenzo, Josep Quetglas, Gilles Ragot, Jacques Sbriglio, Stanislaus von Moos.
Having examined files in all, the panel decided to propose to the Board of Directors the awarding of the grant to :

- Yanfang Niu (Chine) : Promenade Architecturale chez Le Corbusier
