International Docomomo Rehabilitation Award 2021
The restoration of the studio apartment wins an award!
Le Corbusier’s Apartment-Studio was restored in 2018 by the François Chatillon agency. On September 2nd, this restoration received the International Docomomo Rehabilitation Award 2021.
Located in the Immeuble Molitor designed by Le Corbusier, this duplex was the architect’s living and creative space from 1934 to 1965. Owned by the Fondation Le Corbusier, it is open to visitors on Thursday and Friday afternoons, and all day Saturday. To enhance the value of this historic site, the Fondation organizes guided tours every day it is open.
