Théodore Strawinsky — Un clavier de couleurs
27 June — 28 September
Theodore Strawinsky, the son of the famous composer, gives his voice to this keyboard of colours. Literally, as his oils, gouaches, watercolours, pastels and other graphite drawings are accompanied by transcriptions of two audio recordings made by the painter in the 1980s. The voices of Marie Stravinsky, Sylvie Visinand and Luc-Régis Gilbert, actors and witnesses from the early days, accompany the exhibition. If the formula is Le Corbusier’s, it suits Strawinsky’s expression: between scales and arpeggios, the keyboard of colours reveals the convergences and affinities between the two artists.
