  • Villa « Le Lac » in Corseaux
    • Saturday, September 13, and Sunday, September 14, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
      A question-and-answer treasure hunt and map game in which participants must find ten iconic elements of the site that Le Corbusier named in a specific way—starting with the name of the villa, “Le Lac.” Treasure hunt—Treasure of words. Ages 10 and up.

  • Pavillon Le Corbusier in Zürich 

    • Saturday, September 13, at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
      Tour of the pavilion, built between 1964 and 1967 by Le Corbusier for gallery owner Heidi Weber.
    • Sunday, September 14, at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
      Guided tour of the pavilion and the exhibition Towards an Architecture: Reflections.

  • Weissenhofsiedlung in Stuttgart 
    • Sunday, September 14 at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m.
      Guided tours of the Weissenhofsiedlung, built in 1927 by 17 international architects, including Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, Peter Behrens, Walter Gropius, and Victor Bourgeois, on the initiative of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.

  • Maison La Roche in Paris 
    • Saturday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
      The Le Corbusier Foundation is organizing free 30-minute guided tours throughout the day, with no reservation required, limited to 15 people per tour. The first tour starts at 10 a.m., and the last at 4:30 p.m. The guided tour will allow you to discover the history of this purist villa built a hundred years ago by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, as well as visit the exhibition of paintings by Liliane Tomasko.

 

  • Villa Savoye in Poissy
    • Saturday, September 20, and Sunday, September 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
      Twenty-minute guided tours will be offered every 30 minutes in the garden, presenting the history of Villa Savoye, built between 1928 and 1931 by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret. The villa offers other activities: a self-guided tour of the Destinations Le Corbusier : promenades architecturales in the garden, ARCHI VR (a virtual reality tour of Villa Savoye), and a drawing contest.

 

  • Cité Frugès in Pessac

      Guided tours of the Cité Frugès, built by Le Corbusier between 1924 and 1926 for industrialist Henry Frugès in Pessac, near Bordeaux.

      Discover images of the iconic sites of the Council of Europe’s Cultural Route dedicated to Le Corbusier through the exhibition Destinations Le Corbusier : promenades architecturales.

      The game booklet (for ages 7 and up) Welcome to the world of Le Corbusier — a fun exploration is available at the Frugès-Le Corbusier house at 4 Rue Le Corbusier.

  • Architectural walk  Boulogne-Billancourt

    • Saturday, September 20 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Sunday, September 21 at 2 p.m.
      The Boulogne-Billancourt tourist office is organizing guided tours of Le Corbusier’s buildings in the form of architectural walks. You will discover villas from the 1920s and the Molitor building (1931-1934) designed by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret.

      The Swiss Foundation hosts a roundtable discussion Quelle architecture pour quel vivre ensemble ?which explores the link between interior architecture and communal living within the houses of the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris.
    • Saturday, September 20, and Sunday, September 21, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
      The exhibition Patrimoine moderne « mal aimé » presents the work of the Photo Club of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, created during the latest photographic walk of the same name. These visual explorations offer a fresh perspective on these iconic buildings of the Cité.
